Established in 2008, the Elephant Charge is the culmination of Zambia’s motoring and conservation history. It is a 4×4 motorsport challenge that is held in a different, secret location every year to raise funds for Zambian conservation projects.

PAMODZI HOTEL ONE HOTEL, COUNTLESS MEMORIES
Rated one of the best hotels in Lusaka, Taj Pamodzi is an award winning 192 room, 5 star luxury hotel in the heart of the city’s business and government districts. The hotel is home to visiting heads of state as well as leaders of many multinational organisations and other dignitaries.

ISAAC KALAMBATA, CREATURES OF MYTHS AND LEGENDS
We need to be custodians of our own stories; I struggled a great deal to actually find information and had to have a book printed for me for reference. So these art works are my representation of what I think these deities would look like and I’m hoping they will make a big impact during my exhibition.

WIDE LEG PANTS TREND REPORT
Wide-leg pants are not just popular for their ability to flatter any figure but for the stress-free way in which they can be styled. They can be worn on a day out, on a day in and even as an addition to that girls-night-out outfit.

ZAMBIA'S GAME FARMING INDUSTRY'S POTENTIAL FOR GROWTH
In the search for sustainable economic development, commercial game farming is one of the “new” industries that Zambia can take advantage of. It has both the potential to create sustainable employment and reduce poverty, while promoting conservation efforts.

DOMESTIC TOURISM, THE ZAMBIAN CASE
Domestic tourism is a polarising topic for both private sector operators and domestic tourists. Private sector operators bemoan the high taxes and levies on the supply side, whilst on the demand side domestic tourists complain of the exorbitantly high prices they are required to pay.

DOODERONOMY WEIRD SHOPPING WARES
I have had a great deal of fun picking on things that are sold online in some of my previous articles. There are always ridiculous items available for sale and the person who thought about them in the first place is either a genius or an idiot.

HARARE, FINDING YOUR CROWD IN THE SUNSHINE CITY
Harare is the capital city of Zimbabwe, the country affectionately named as the jewel of Africa by Julius Nyerere. Home to over a million people from various cultures and ethnicities, it offers experiences that are diverse and memorable for visitors to the city.

TOM PHIRI AND THE ART OF BRONZE
The idea behind it is to show how everyone sees God differently. It’s like seeing a mountain from different angles. People in the West get a different perspective, the people in the East also get a different view, but it’s all the same mountain.

SWAKOPMUND; SAND, SEA, CULTURE AND HISTORY
At the heart of it all sits Swakopmund, the ideal starting point from where to explore the enclosing habitat in all its splendour. Centred around a harbour that dates back to 1892, the town is famed for its alluring old-world charm.

MISSLU: CUSTOMIZED FASHION
“FASHION IS ABOUT DESIGNING CLOTHES THAT APPEAL TO A CERTAIN PERSONALITY.”

MUTINONDO WILDERNESS: HEAR GOD SIGH
Mutinondo is the place you go to drop off the grid if the rise of the machines suddenly commenced, or if you just want to get away from the chatter of the city. If you’re lucky, your mobile might get one bar of cell phone coverage, but you’d have to stretch out your arm and stand in an awkward position to get it.

BIRTHWATCH ZAMBIA: SAVING THE BIRDS
It’s true, I studied Zoology at University and spent over twenty years living in the South Luangwa in the safari world, and so I can follow a scientist explaining their research, but Chaona makes it so intriguing and exciting.

THE 6-HOUR WORK DAY: NEED TO HAVE OR NICE TO HAVE
It’s 5:00PM on a Wednesday afternoon and I couldn’t be more relieved. My bags

KAFUNTA RIVER LODGE IN THE HEART OF SOUTH LUANGWA
At Kafunta River Lodge you will have no time to waste. Over the course of your stay, you can spend the midday hours either soaking in the only natural hot tub in the valley, swimming in the pool, unwinding under the skillful hands of Maria, the massage therapist or secretly spotting water-monitor lizards.

THE URBAN NDOLA, A TRANQUIL ESCAPE
As soon as you turn from the busy main road towards the Urban Hotel Ndola, you feel as though you’re leaving the city behind and entering into a den of tranquility.
